Community Builders' Advisory service relieves pressure. Our feasibility assessments cover all aspects of a project, giving housing providers confidence to get started.

Certainty as a service.

Get the intelligence you need to decide whether or not to pursue a project. Our Advisory removes doubt by performing the daunting parts of pre-development, such as:

We provide a full report on our findings. Now, of course, we want you to choose Community Builders' Development Management service if you choose to take the next step and pursue the project. But we gain nothing from encouraging a client to take on a development that cannot be completed. And we work happily with your preferred consultants, contractors and vendors.

Our Development Management team starts where the Advisory service leaves off. We have the expertise to coordinate interdisciplinary functions throughout planning, design, construction, and even operations. For housing providers, this means less risk, more value, and far fewer headaches.

Our development process includes setting up partnerships, managing planning and rezoning processes, approvals with local authorities, design development, financing, construction, and lifecycle project management. We can even help your Operations team set up.

The integration of these functions in pre-development lets us coordinate efficiently, saving time and costs. Our structured reporting process provides continuous insight into the financial feasibility and total costs of the projects we develop.

Typical development models for affordable housing drain a sponsor’s equity and expose them to the risks of uncertain interest rates, project costs and schedules. This delays developments and prevents sponsors from committing to developments at a scale that makes a significant impact on the housing crisis.

We believe in approaching housing as infrastructure. The methodologies we’ve used to deliver social infrastructure in healthcare, education, transportation and other sectors also work for affordable housing. They let regional, municipal and city leaders, and non-profit organizations, take advantage of government initiatives and development programs but transfer financial risk and design-build responsibility to expert private developers to protect public equity.
